A nice little restaurant with good food! I had the Rachel and fries which were very good! Our waitress was so sweet and attentive. The only negative is the tables are placed very close to each other which makes it hard to get to an open table if they are crowded. But highly recommend this place for breakfast or lunch!
We went to eat here on a whim, and it was so good! The service was excellent, and the food even better. We have already decided this will be our go to brunch spot for next time we come to St. Augustine. I highly recommend the salmon and capers eggs benedict.
Dinner!!! So I reviewed brunch and have now been back for lunch several times but finally headed here for dinner. They have a descent selection of draft (4), bottled beer and wine. We ordered the beef carpaccio to start. This is one of my favorite dishes and I guess I love it even more now! Holy smokes the beef was tender, the sauce amazing and the dressed greens.. add the egg on the toasted points and there is a serious party happening in your mouth! We moved onto the entrees.. Scallops with Butternut Squash and the Baked Market fish. The fish was Cobia and it was pan seared and put on top of a daily risotto (mushroom) and had a sun dried tomato pesto on top. This fish was cooked nicely and the risotto was delicious. It was too much pesto on top.. a bit overpowering. There was also a strong fish finish.. not that it was bad just off putting. But the fish was enjoyed! Now the scallops.. thus might be one of my favorite dishes. Such a nice flavor profile with the butternut squash sweetness matched with the prosciutto saltiness and balanced with the pureed pistachio pesto and onion marmalade. Scallops were perfectly cooked and not a bit of grit.. great quality. True compliment to the chef that prepared it! Dessert! Brought a piece of the lemon berry cake home.. Also excellent, fresh and light! Only complaint was we were a little out off by the football game and other entertainment on the two big screen tvs they had overhead.. we would have preferred a more romantic feel.. lights were bright. The ambiance is not what we prefer but the food is great.
I stopped at this really cute little cafe and ordered the smoked salmon Benedict with hash browns to go. The food was delicious and fresh. The girl working there was super nice and attentive. We'll definitely be going back. Every visit has had outstanding service and good food. The spicy Bloody Mary mix was delicious. The Cairano avocado toast was also very good. I wish they used different hash browns and made them crispier. We look forward to trying dinner sometime.
Very quaint place. Nice selection of foods to choose from. We had breakfast. Benedict’s were done spot on, asked for eggs to be cooked medium. Cook did a perfect job on them. Waffles are huge with fruit. Eggs to order were very good. Food took a little time to get to us. But came out hot. Will try again.
The western omelet was very well-cooked and the mimosa flight is a perfect starter. This is a delicious little find away from the hustle and bustle of WGV.
I recently visited Cafe Cairano for breakfast and had a fantastic experience! My husband enjoyed the breakfast burrito and I opted for the salmon lox, and both were fresh, perfectly prepared, and full of taste. The food was delicious, and the service was fast and friendly, making for an overall wonderful start to the day!
My husband and I were returning home to NC from FL and decided to just stop somewhere for breakfast and this restaurant popped up on Google maps, so we stopped. It is a small place but the food was exceptional with the service very good and personable. I would recommend it to everyone in the area and driving through. Absolutely wonderful.
